When you use BoreholeAI, we collect information you provide directly: your email address and password when creating an account, and the PDF documents you upload for processing.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide the BoreholeAI service — processing your borehole log PDFs and returning structured data. We do not sell your data or use your documents to train AI models.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your PDFs are parsed using OCR middleware — the full document is never sent to any AI model. All uploads are encrypted in transit.
4. Data Retention
Uploaded files are used only for temporary processing and are removed immediately after completion. We do not store your documents.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Google for optional OAuth sign-in. These services have their own privacy policies.
